Look around each area carefully before you move on to the next. 2. Although most useable areas are highlighted by a flashing cog hint icon there are some that aren't, so it's often a good idea to scan an area thoroughly, even if you don't see a flashing icon. 3. Most items are hidden in obvious places, so sometimes you've just got to ask yourself, "where would I keep a disembodied head?" 4. If you find yourself getting lost exploring Tryton then make sure to check every Information Terminal you find, as these will give you a map of the area that you're in. However, not all areas have maps, so if you do get lost it is often a good idea to remember a specific landmark and explore from there, always remembering the route you took so that you can safely double back. 5. Use the ammo and health dispensers whenever you can. They do not run out but you are restricted to using them once at a time. Always make a note of where you find them. Note: you can tell if Prisoner 84 is low on health by the fact that he will be covered in blood. ------------------------ 2. WALKTHROUGH ------------------------ PART I: ESCAPE SOLITARY CONFINMENT (SECURITY LEVEL 1) Solitary Confinement Leave your cell and head down the corridor towards a row of lockers. Use locker 1 to pick up a piece of paper and a pistol. Equip the pistol in your inventory, and then turn around to use the keypad on the small office doors. Enter the code you found written on the piece of paper. Dispose of the zombie in the small office. Now walk over to the set of drawers opposite the computer desk and open them to find a Level 1 swipe card. Turn around and use your swipe card on the computer to unlock the main doors. Go through the main doors to reach "Strut A to Solitary Confinement Connecting Bridge" **** PART II: GET PAST THE REMOTELY SEALED SECURITY DOORS Strut A to Solitary Confinement Connecting Bridge Turn right where the platforms meet and you will find a toolbox on the floor underneath the malfunctioning light. Use it to pick up a box of fuses. Continue towards Prison Block A and exit through the large doors. Strut A F3, Roof Work your way around the corridor (dispatching any enemies you may encounter) and walk through the small doors into the office. On your left hand side are a set of drawers inside which you will find a blue locker key and a flash light. With the locker key safely in your possession, make your way back to "Solitary Confinement". Solitary Confinement Approach the row of lockers again and use the blue locker key on the locker with the "Cabby" sticker on it. Inside the locker you will find a red clipboard. Head all the way back to the small office in "Strut A F3, Roof" Strut A F3, Roof Back in the small office, use the computer to access the security program. Drag all three sliders to match the code found on the red clipboard. This will open the sealed security doors, allowing access to the elevator which serves the rest of Prison Block A. Use the elevator and select F1. **** PART III: ACCESS THE RECREATIONAL YARD Strut A F1, Elevator Room From the elevator, go straight down the corridor and exit through the large doors. Strut A F1, Prison Block Head down the South corridor and follow the sign to Strut C. You will find yourself walking through "Strut A F1, East Exit" and "Strut A to C Connecting Bridge" before reaching "Strut C F1, West Exit", which is your next destination. Make a note of it as this code can be used on any the large doors inside each of the main Prison Blocks, giving you access to the "Recreational Yard (aka The Bridge)". **** PART IV: ACCESS THE MESS HALL (SECURITY LEVEL 2) Strut B F1, Prison Block The next objective is to unlock the Mess Hall which is a level 2 (L2) security door. Go to "Strut B F1, Prison Block" and in one of the cells you will find a mutilated prison guard who is carrying a level 2 swipe card. Now head down the West corridor and exit through the large doors to get to the "West Connecting Bridge". West Connecting Bridge Walk along the platform, disposing of any enemies you encounter and take a left to head towards "Building 1". Go through the doors. Building 1 F1, West Entrance Go right and head through the "spider infested corridor". You will eventually find a broken elevator. With the elevator now working, use it and head down to "Building 1 B1, Maintenance". Building 1 B1, Maintenance Walk straight ahead and around the corridor until you come across some storage shelves. On one of the shelves is a toolbox which contains some DW80 (lubricant). Pick it up. Continue along the path you were taking and exit through the small door. Building 1 B1, Maintenance Worker's Office Approach the computer in the opposite corner of the room and use your L2 swipe card on it. This will unlock all level 2 (L2) security doors, allowing access to the Mess Hall from either the "Recreational Yard (aka The Bridge)" or the "East Connecting Bridge". **** PART V: ACCESS THE MEDICAL BUILDING (SECURITY LEVEL 3) Building 1 B1, Maintenance Worker's Office Still in the maintenance worker's office, take the L3 swipe card from one of the coats hanging on the wall. Now return back to the elevator, and head back up to "Building 1 F1, West Entrance" and leave through the same doors you originally came in by. West Connecting Bridge This time turn left and head towards "Building 2". The level 2 doors should now be open, so head through them. Building 2 F1, Rec Room Use the health and ammo dispensers which are directly ahead of you. Now head through either of the large doors and you will find yourself in the main recreational area. Go right and up the elevator. Building 2 F2, Library Go straight ahead towards the librarian's desk, and use the L3 swipe card on the computer. This will unlock the medical building, which can now be accessed from either the "East Connecting Bridge" or the "Main Access Bridge", which is where you'll be heading now. From the desk, take either the left or right route around the corner and exit through the large doors. Main Access Bridge Head straight across the access bridge (disposing of any enemies you may encounter) until you reach "Building 3". The level 3 doors should will be unlocked so head on inside to reach the medical reception area. **** PART VI: INSIDE THE MEDICAL BUILDING Building 3 F2, Reception The door to the nurse's station inside reception is locked, so head through the large doors with the "Patients Only" sign above it. Building 3 F2, Surgical Wards Go straight through the next set of large doors directly in front of you, fight your way past the horde of zombies inside "Building 3 F2, Private Rooms", and exit through the large doors on the opposite end to the way you came in. Go into the gents toilets to find a code written in blood on the wall. Make a note of it and return to reception. Building 3 F2, Reception Use the code you found on the wall on the keypad next to the small door and you will now be able to access the nurse's station. Observe the clipboard on the desk carefully!! Next, use the computer on the desk and enter the code. This unlocks the large doors in "Building 3 F2, Surgical Wards". So head back through the door with the "Patients Only" sign above it. Building 3 F2, Surgical Wards This time, head right and the go through large doors, which should now be unlocked. You'll find yourself inside a small ward with a mutilated prison guard on the one of the beds. Pick up his severed hand. Exit through the small door (so that you don't have to confront the horde of zombies again!) and use one of the elevators to go down to the first floor of the medical building. Building 3 F1, Hospital Wards Walk down the long corridor. Now you have the severed hand you can it to trick the thumb scanner next to the security doors! **** PART VII: THE WAREHOUSE Building 5 F2, North Bridge Room Go straight ahead and exit through the doors on the opposite end to the way you came in. Building 5 F2, Admin You will find yourself in an office which contains a set of partitioned work stations. Explore the work stations, and in one of them you will find a set of drawers which contains a mobile phone. Examine the mobile phone in your inventory to read part of a text message that reveals the warehouse storeroom code (this is important for later!) Leave the offices via the elevator and head down to the warehouse. Warehouse F1, Main Corridor Go straight ahead, killing any enemies along the way, and leave through another elevator which will take you up to the roof of the warehouse. Continue past more enemies and take the corridor that leads to the right and exit through the large doors. **** PART VIII: COMMUNICATIONS TOWER Warehouse to Comm Tower Connecting Bridge Work your way all the way to the other end of the bridge and you will find "Building 6". Enter through the large doors. Comm Tower F1, Lobby Go underneath the malfunctioning doors and dispose of any enemies you may encounter. Then head right and take the elevator up to the top of the comm tower. Comm Tower F2, Main Operations Room Head right and go into the small cloak room. On the left side of the room is a toolbox stored away on a set of shelves, inside which you will find a screwdriver. Pick it up. On the back wall there is also a coat which contains a red locker key. Take the elevator back down to "Comm Tower F1, Lobby" on the first floor. Comm Tower F1, Lobby Head right and follow the helipad sign through the short corridor. You will then be back outside on a small connecting bridge. Go straight through the doors and you will find yourself overlooking the helipad. However, there appears to be no power reaching this block. So let's head back to "Comm Tower F1, Lobby". Take the elevator again, but this time go down (press B1). Comm Tower B1, Elevator Room The only door in this area is a water tight door leading to a power room. However, the door is rusted shut and won't budge. So walk up to it and use your DW80 on it. Once the door has been dislodged, turn the wheel to open it. Comm Tower B1, Storage On the opposite wall you will find five fuse boxes with different coloured wires leading to each. If you were paying attention when you first walked over to the helipad, you should be aware of which wires feed power to the helipad. If you didn't notice, then head back there to take another look. Walk up to the correct fuse box and join the corresponding wires together to restore power to the helipad. Now return to the helipad. Helipad If you approach the helicopter there seems to be a problem: it appears that something is wrong and needs repairing. So head back to "Comm Tower F1, Lobby". Comm Tower F1, Lobby If you haven't done so already, you will need to open the locker using the red key. Inside the locker you will find the pilot's log book. The log book explains the problem and reveals which part required to fix the helicopter. Go back to the warehouse. **** PART IX: HELICOPTER REPAIR Warehouse F1, Main Corridor Back in the warehouse use any one of the keypads down the right hand side of the main corridor, entering the code you found in the text message on the mobile phone. Warehouse F1, Storage Rooms The storage rooms contain lots of boxes so scan each shelf carefully. You will eventually find a box which has the words "fragile" written on it. Inside this box is a power relay unit which should do nicely to fix the glitch on the helicopter! Take the part all the way back to the helipad and use it to repair the helicopter. ------------------------ 3.
